Self-Managed

Upload your own MP3 files. You hold the performance license (e.g. SOCAN in Canada, SACM in Mexico).

Connected Service

Connect an existing licensed commercial music account. Your subscription covers public performance.

Performing rights organizations (venue must register separately):

SOCAN — Canada (socan.ca)
SACM — Mexico (sacm.org.mx)

These organizations issue blanket licenses directly to venues. If you don't currently hold one, registering is straightforward and separate from using Queued.

⚠️ Non-compliance with local music licensing laws is the sole legal responsibility of the venue. If you do not currently hold a license for the music you play, Queued recommends looking into the appropriate performing rights organization for your region before launch.

Terms of Use — Key Points

Venues are solely responsible for obtaining public performance licenses for all music played through the platform.
Queue interaction fees paid by patrons are service fees for use of the Queued platform — not payments for music.
By uploading MP3 files, the venue certifies it holds or has obtained appropriate rights or a blanket license.
By connecting a music service, the venue certifies its subscription covers public performance in a venue context.
Queued is a technology platform and assumes no liability for unlicensed music use by venues.
Full terms of service will be published at launch and must be accepted before account activation.
